Learn to Skate- FMC Ice Sports

Tot & Youth -For participants ages 4-15 with little or no formal skating instruction. Our group skating classes teach skating basics in a fun and comfortable environment for all participants.This is structured for those who want to play hockey, figure skate or just enjoy skating with friends and family. Skaters will be grouped by age and or ability as possible. A helmet such as a bike or HECC helmet is required. 
Rental skates are available on a first come first serve basis and included in the fee. 


Teen Adult Learn to Skate
-Ages 16 and older are invited to learn to skate or enhance skating skills in a fun and comfortable environment.  Skaters will be grouped by age and or ability.  A helmet is required such as a bike or HECC helmet.  Rental skates are available on a first come , first serve basis and are  included in the fee.



Ice Skating
  • A helmet, such as a bike helmet or HCC helmet is required and must be provided by participant. Please label the helmet with a First name and last initial on the front.
  • Wear warm clothing that allow for movement , gloves or mittens are recommended too.
  • Young skaters may wish to wear waterproof clothing and gloves.
  • Rental skates are available on a first come, first serve basis and are included in the class fee.
  • Participants are welcome to bring their own skates, although double blade skates are not permitted.
