Community Build of Jones River Bridge & Boardwalk

Kingston Community Bridge & Trail Boardwalk
Join a project , that helps build the community.  The Kingston Conservation Commission and Open Space Committee will lead this project to build a bridge over the Jones River and a boardwalk through adjacent floodplain on Cranberry Watershed Preserve along the Bay Circuit Trail.    The bridge will be 36 feet long by 4 feet wide and the boardwalk will be approx. 300 feet long by 4 feet wide.  The project is being funded by a Ma Dept. of Conservation and Recreation, Recreational Trails grant.  Volunteers with some building/carpentry experience are welcome, but experience is not required.  Hand tools such as hammers, power drills, etc. are welcome.
No Fee, but you must register for this program. 
You will be contacted prior to the start of the project.

Community Build
All ages are welcome, but children must be accompanied by an Adult
