Children and a Return to Nature - Our Shared Responsibility

Designed for parents/families and their children.  3 easy hikes for our children around some of Kingston's beautiful conservation preserves.  Brad Cook, who hiked the 2176 miles of the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine, will also present a slideshow after the 3rd hike that will be both inspiring and interactive.


 

Specifications:
  • Saturday,November 1st at 10am - Cranberry Watershed; access through the back parking lot at Silver Lake Middle School
  • Saturday, November 8th at 10am - Bay Farm; hiking trails in Kingston and Duxbury - parking at Kingston Town Landing
  • Saturday, November 15th at 10am - Sampson Park; short walk of the area and then light refreshments and a slide show presentation back at the Reed Community Building.
  • Fee: $5 per family
